Best Gifts For 2021: Meaningful Holiday Gift Giving

Choosing a holiday gift can be tricky. It can all depend on how well you know the person. However, there are meaningful gifts that everyone can appreciate and use. We’ve gathered some great ideas for your family and friends, from traditional to significant!
A Personalized Gift
If you know a friend or a family member well, a personal touch can make the difference between something truly meaningful and just another gift. If you have something embroidered, engraved or otherwise customized for your recipient, it shows you’ve put real effort and thought into finding the perfect gift.
Personalized gifts don’t have to be expensive or flashy. Here are a few ideas:
A journal with a personalized message
A keychain with important dates
Photo socks
Engraved wine glasses
Personalized jewelry
Just remember to put thought into the gift and make sure that it’s something the recipient would really use.
A Stay-at-Home Gift
Given that people won’t be going out much this year, it’s probably best to give them something they can use at home every day, such as yoga pants, pajamas, hoodies, cute tank tops, coffee mugs and similar.
A Planner
You can find many phone apps to help you keep track of things, but stationery lovers know the importance of writing it all down on paper. And shouldn’t everybody use their mobile phone less anyway?
A guilt-free weekly planner, journal, designer notebooks, office organizers and more will help your friends and coworkers maximize performance and minimize stress. A good planner can include daily affirmations, goal setting pages, weekly reflection questions and blank note pages that allow writing down last-minute details or thoughts. If you decide on a yearly planner, look for one that not only includes 24 months at a glance, important monthly dates and holidays and observances, but also includes weekly to-do lists, a place for your daily action plans, as well as future planning and yearly reflection pages.
A new year comes with new goals — and a long list of things we want to accomplish. Organizers and planners should always be at the top of your gift shopping list, especially for the ones who want to focus upon what matters the most, like family, friends, fitness and faith, among others.
A Gift Card
People who seem to have everything obviously know what they want. So why force a gift on them that they don't need? There’s no shame in buying someone a gift certificate or a gift card. It shows you know their preferences while acknowledging that they prefer to shop for themselves. Stop thinking about the gift you like to give and buy the kind of gift they’d like to receive.
An Experience
Most of us have enough stuff, so think beyond physical products and give a gift of experience instead. When you prepay for an experience or event, your family member or friend gets a fun adventure they can remember and may even gain new skills and memories. It’s a more thoughtful gift that shows you took the time to plan something just for them instead of buying them another holiday gift set.
